By day, the 290 Sundancer provides the perfect place for a party. In the spacious cockpit, passengers can lounge on luxuriously padded seats that face forward and aft, while enjoying their favorite beverages. There are plenty of cup holders, and the well-appointed cockpit wet bar has a stainless steel sink and faucet with a built-in insulated cooler for convenient entertaining. Ready for a swim? The standard extended swim platform with a concealed three-step aluminum ladder offers easy access to the water. When it's time for sunbathing, the aft-facing cockpit seat easily slides and folds down to a comfortable sun pad. Everyone can freshen up with the hot and cold transom shower.
The captain is in complete command from an ergonomic, swivel bucket seat with a flip-up, thigh-rise bolster. At the helm, a state-of-art control station features SmartCraft™ instruments, weatherproof illuminated switches, power-assisted steering, electronic depth finder, and VHF radio.
Ready for a snack? The ingeniously designed galley contains a recessed stove, microwave, sink, and dual-voltage refrigerator, plus fiberglass granite-colored countertops, generous storage in wood-tone cabinets and dinette seating with a solid-wood table.
At night, up to six sleep comfortably in three separate areas. The mid-stateroom has a private double bunk, while the graceful V-berth features a mirrored locker and wood-tone cabinets, plus filler cushions and a privacy curtain. Seating in the dining area converts to an extra bed with the addition of filler cushions.
Excellent entertainment is available day or night from the standard 12V AM/FM single CD stereo with six-disc changer, MP3 port, amplifier and six speakers or the Sirius® satellite receiver with antenna that includes six months of activation on Sirius Satellite Radio.
The 290 Sundancer is powered by twin 4.3L MPI Bravo III gasoline sterndrives. Other available options to choose from include: twin 5.0L MPI Bravo I gasoline sterndrives or twin 5.0L MPI Bravo III gasoline sterndrives. In addition, Sea Ray's status as a MerCruiser® Installation Quality Certified Manufacturer provides a standard two-year engine warranty.
