BUCYRUS, Ohio (October 26, 2005) - The 2006 model year brings the pulse-racing introduction of the 35 Outlaw, specially built to commemorate Baja Marine's 35th anniversary of manufacturing performance boats. Upping the ante, Baja has created an ultimate speed machine, the 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition that will really get the party started during this celebratory year.

runs beyond weekend card games to full blowout bashes. And the 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition is dressed for the occasion, and slimmed down to make a full-throttle impression. Baja engineers used generous helpings of carbon fiber and Kevlar in the boat's lay-up, providing remarkable strength while shedding 1,200 pounds from the standard 35 Outlaw's weight. This Special Edition Poker Runner is outfitted with a custom paint job, a dazzling fiberglass engine lid with custom side pads and a special edition dash panel with gauge trim rings. Plus, the Special Edition 35 features a billet tilt helm and shifter, anodized grab bars, cup holders, battery boxes and trim and tab indicators.
Sleek hardware completes the look, from a black rub rail with stainless steel insert to painted vents and horn, while a smoked deck hatch, cabin door and low-profile windscreen kick the offshore style up a notch. Sitting still or blowing past the competition, the 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition is sure to crane the necks of onlookers.
"We took the signature look of Baja and upped the ante - so to speak - to capture the spirit of our poker run customer," said Dean Reynolds, Baja's product manager. "Bajas are known for turning heads. And the 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition is no exception."
While this 35 Outlaw may look all dressed up, performance is what truly defines a poker run boat. "We've made this wild edition even faster," said Reynolds. By cutting pounds while maintaining strength, this Special Edition Outlaw delivers an optimal weight-to-power ratio for tearing through any poker run fleet.
