NEW ELECTRIC BOAT ON DISPLAY AT SAN DIEGO SHOW PDF Print E-mail
Lear Baylor Inc. of Garden Grove, California, will exhibit its new Lear204 electric boat June 23-26 at the 2005 San Diego Summer Boat Sale held at San
Diego's Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel and Marina. Carrying on the family legacy for comfort and high-quality workmanship that made Learjet a household name, the boat—a second-generation Lear vehicle—is sure to attract a crowd. Thanks to its reliable, DC propulsion, the 20' x 8-1/2' Lear204 provides pollution-free, silent operation. In addition to a motorized, retractable hardtop, the boat contains a premium sound system; full instrumentation; enclosed head; refrigerator/freezer and many other amenities. The Lear204's bank of six, high-capacity, maintenance-free batteries provide enough power for more than 10 hours of running at full throttle. To replenish the batteries, a microprocessor-controlled charging system is integrated into the boat. See the Lear204 at the show's in-water section, Zone #5.
