Year’s resolution, then Riviera has designed the ideal solution for you. The Gold Coast based luxury cruiser manufacturer will has added another vessel to its comprehensive range with the release of the Riviera M360 Sports Cruiser at the 2005 Melbourne Summer Boat Show. The new Riviera M360 is sure to impress with its contemporary design, clean lines and ‘fun factor’. The M360 has been designed with entertaining and family fun in mind- for people who love to spend time out on the water and not have a care in the world. It is the perfect boat for entertaining, with a large one-level cockpit area and room to sleep four to five people down below, so you can spend a day out or a weekend on the water with friends or family. Twin Mercruiser engines power the Riviera M360, which also has multi-point fuel injection for reliability and safety; dual alloy fuel tanks, and an ergonomically designed helm area for improved sit-down driving vision. For those who simply want to relax and soak up the sun or cool off, the M360 offers a sun bed on the forward deck and a teak swim platform for easy access to the water. The sleek sports cruiser has been designed along the same lines as its ‘big brother’, the popular M400, which was released at the Sydney Boat Show in July last year with rave reviews and great retail sales. “The interior design and finish of the new M360 and M400 sports cruisers are a major departure from anything we have done before and they have been described as looking like a very stylish inner city apartment,” said Wes Moxey, CEO of Riviera. “With a long list of standards and a short list of options it’s a very easy buying decision. “Everything you need for a great weekend is standard.” This new generation range of sports cruisers is set to dramatically increase Riviera’s market appeal in this category. Riviera’s CEO Wes Moxey said the company is looking forward to a very exciting year in 2005 with the release of several new models, an increased number of staff and considerable expansion of the production facility at Coomera. “We are mounting a massive employment drive in the new year to increase our staff numbers to keep up with demand,” Mr Moxey said. “We are looking for tradespeople across all facets of the marine industry including boat builders, composite technicians, electricians, cabinet makers, engineering and detailing. “The Gold Coast offers a relaxed lifestyle and in comparative terms housing here is still very affordable so anyone thinking about re-locating from interstate would do very nicely indeed.” Riviera is aiming to employ a further 200 tradespeople in the next 12 months. Mr Moxey said the introduction of the new M360 was yet another example of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide the boat buying public with new and improved options and this was one of the drivers of Riviera’s growth. “The M360 is a stunning boat and this year with the plans we have underway we need more committed and dedicated people to join us so we can continue to deliver world class products such as this,” he said.
