Just wondering what everyone pays per year in dock fees?

That's kinda like asking "how high is up?" isn't it?

On the Mississippi at Red Wing, Minnesota, I pay roughly $2400.00 for the summer season and another $8.00 per foot to store on the water in the marina. This is for a 16 x 50 foot slip we put our 44 foot Gibson Standard in. So a yearly rate would be in the neighborhood of $2700.00, which I do not think is all that bad. Marina has water and electric and several other amenities, but no gas dock or pump out facilities. We have four other marinas within shouting distance that supply those services. We have a long line of people who wish to get in the marina, but it seems the only way to get in is to buy someone's boat who is getting out of boating completely. Otherwise, a typical boat sale would see the boat go away and the previous renter would retain the slip. That $2700.00 is well worth the price of tranquility.

We are on the Ohio River 45 miles east of Cincinnati, and pay 36.00 a foot for the season. If I keep it in the water for the winter, it's 8.00 a foot. Our marina has water, electric, cable tv, a restaurant on a headboat (barge) and new for this year a pumpout service. My fees for the season are 1440.00, plus electric each month, plus cable fee.
