TOPIC: no spark! johnson motor issues

i went to start up my boat today and nothing! ive traced the issue back to no spark comming out of the wires, its a 1969 johnson hydo electric V115 motor
any solutions as to what to look at would be greatly appriciated! thanks

Check your kill switch circuit. If it's not that then clean your points.

Must be something to do with timming I don't have any experience with your motor but from the year model i guess its using a condenser, you might also check that one too. Your motor needs cleaning of points. Good luck!
